I sent a card today. I had to write something on it's back, so I checked who Cornelius de Vos was. The significant thing about the portrait on a card (by the way it's only a fragment of it) is that it was only one missing from the set in Museum Mayer van den Bergh in Antwerpen. In early 17th century one bourgeois (Vekemans) ordered portraits of all his family members. 4 portraits were in private collection of van den Bergh, which later went to a museum collection. One portrait was in a private British collection. Those funds "Koning Boudewijnstichting" bought it and boy (on a portrait) after 4 centuries could finally join his family.

Also last week I got a card from Germany. Anne wrote that she got it as Ad-card. It is from organisation www.tibet-initiative.de. They have 60 regional volunteer groups with more then 2000 members and "give strong voice to Tibet" as for human rights and sovereignty. Politics... Pure politics.... By the way on their site they sell the card with name "Nomadic" and price 1 euro.
